Would you like to get ranked quickly by Google, Yahoo, MSN? Here is a little technique I use that is very effective and not to many people know how to use effectively.
It is Press releases. The major players in the industry are just now starting to let the cat out of the bag on this method. It has been a closely guarded secret.
The trick is DO NOT write an ad, it will never get posted. You need to be informative and hit the major attributes of the program you are in. Read examples of other releases.
It works best with newly launched programs, but can also be used if your program does any major changes that you can write about.
The great thing about Press releases is that it is FREE to submit your article. There are usually upgrades you can do to keep your article current, but free is fine if you are on a budget. I do both.
Go to any search engine and type in press release sites or something like that and you will get a list of many different organizations that you can use.
Use as many as you can to see which ones give you the best exposure. Make sure you add the keyword of your choice in the head line and use it through out your article (at least 5 - 8 times).
After you article has been approved you should see it hit the search engines in as little as 2 weeks or less. You may need to tweak it to get a better ranking, but believe me it is worth it for all the free traffic it can provide.
