Sharon, you're the greatest. My old hard head is finally noticing more and more how many people are so very thankful that you are one of those "others" in their lives. This includes me! Mike Oh, I almost forgot your favorite line and it's growing on me, "Peace." Let me ad Joy.

IT'S IN THE VALLEYS I GROW

 

Sometimes life seems hard to bear,
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then I have to remember
That it's in the valleys I grow.

If I always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
I would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain.

I have so much to learn
And my growth is very slow,
Sometimes I need the mountain tops,
But it's in the valleys I grow.

I do not always understand
Why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing.
My Lord will see me through.

My little valleys are nothing
When I picture Christ on the cross
He went through the valley of death;
His victory was Satan's loss.

Forgive me Lord, for complaining
When I'm feeling so very low.
Just give me a gentle reminder
That it's in the valleys I grow.

Continue to strengthen me, Lord
And use my life each day
To share your love with others
And help them find their way.

I truly Believe that God lead me to visit this site back in January of this year.

As you may or may not know, I operate a small Bookkeeping & Tax Service, out there in that other world, and anything that could go wrong, went wrong, right from the start this season.  As I asked God for strength, to see me through these setbacks, I remembered several Christian sites where I have visited previously, and while searching for one of these sites, I happened upon this site.

The Angels of the Lord are always with us and He will never forsake us, when we call upon His Name. Praise the Lord.

Hi Sharon, Hi Phil, What a beautiful forum this is.

I love all this inspiration, its like honey to the soul.

I went to the site you left there Phil and sent the message to my freinds and family. I will go back and put it on my favourites. I was all stressed and worrying today about nothing in particular and these inspirations have calmed me right down. Like a breath of fresh air.  Thank You Sharon for your poem too it got me thinking in a more constuctive way.
