Re: Why you Value Forums, and what use are they?

I asked some of the leaders who post a lot to respond to this forum - A couple more replies went to my email box - I'll paste them here...

Hi Neil,

The WHY is so we can make new friends here and network and become known, then people feel more comfortable joining a business with us if they know we are here every day and we have the motivation to pursue our business AND make friends and say something worthwhile.  Another WHY is because our signature file will be at the end of each of our posts, even if you think people don't read your sig file, if they see it dozens of times daily it DOES get into their psyche and if you have an attention-getting headline on your sig file, people WILL click on it.

The HOW is to bookmark this link and easily keep up with forums and look for new friends: http://community.adlandpro.com/posthistory.aspx

I hope that was helpful!

Hi Neil,

this is John Elliott aka Oaky Wood and together with Luella May co-founded our website www.TheCorner4Women.com

Posting in forums reguluarly has many advantages for anyone who calls themself a professional business person. Together with social networking with others and creating an internet presence, using forums is the ideal marketing solution, and should be utilized to it's fullest extent by anyone trying to create a successful online business as an important part within their Internet Marketing strategies.

Many marketing experts will tell you that every time you post within a forum, whether its a simple reply comment to someone elses post, or you are giving out some useful information yourself, then these posts are all picked up by the search engines. Google index's every single page and comment, that is produced here at Adlands. Every time you post, your signature should include either your own website, or affiliate programs you are actively promoting.

These are then perceived by say Google as an active link to you and your site. If the forum is a high ranking one, such as Adlands community then this all helps your own ranking status on say Alexa.com for instance. Almost all active Internet Marketers should be well versed in the effectiveness and the true value of regular forum posting.

Another great advantage about forum posting, especially for article writers such as Luella and myself is that other website owners may well wish to use your posted article on their site thus expanding greatly the link idea through article marketing to drive potential customers to your own site or affiliate programs.

There is always the added advantage that if your friends list here at Adlands is very large then the potential to market yourself and your products increase exponentially too. Adlands has over 50,000 members currently and therfore by posting regularly, you have the possible potential of reaching many of them over time, increasing both your credibility and awareness of who and what you do. By being actively involved within a forum community and posting regularly as many of the top posters do then you are gaining greater awareness for your products or services too.

In the great scheme of things, and of life on the Internet, whether for business or pleasure, a great forum community such as Adlands with its many active forums is an integral part of many peoples everyday life. As a professional businessman I also see forums as an integral part of the Internet Marketing strategies everyone serious about running a business online should be an active part of and certainly shoulld be posting to the forums as often as possible.

Through our work of helping others Luella and myself have been given many accolades by this wonderful community, including POTW's and Luella POTY awards. You must be active for others to even know that you are there at all.

I hope this throws some light on why some people post so much whilst others never do and why many of the top posters are so active. It's because they know how to use forums to market themselves, their products and their website using adlands community forums. True professionals will be members of other top forum communities too, I believe Luella belongs to several to help market and promote our website www.TheCorner4Women.com

Love and Peace always to everyone
