Thanks for this great feature, Luella!

I hadn't heard of Mae C. Jemison before, this was a new bit of knowledge for me today!

I LOVE MAE JEMISON!
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THIS BEAUTIFUL SISTER.

Seeing her picture in the pages of Essence and Ebony alongside the beautiful high fashion models nicely rounded out the buffet of career choices for girls that had not been there before.

I dearly wish more and more young people follow her lead and reach for their stars.

Thank you so much for this presentation.

I do agree with Joice, i wish there would be more young people who follow Mae's lead. A Woman of Courage, a woman with great Faith and a woman of mutual respect. Thanks Luella for featuring this kind and gracious lady.  Thank you Geketa Holman for looking out. God_bless

Hi Luella and John,

Wow, to call
Mae  Jemison a Woman of Courage seems to me to be the understatement of the century!. Her bio makes fascinating reading .

Thanks for bringing us this forum which draws attention to the women who forum part of our history, past, present and future.

Take Care
Love
Jenny
