I hadn't heard of Mae C. Jemison before, this was a new bit of knowledge for me today!

I LOVE MAE JEMISON!
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THIS BEAUTIFUL SISTER.

Seeing her picture in the pages of Essence and Ebony alongside the beautiful high fashion models nicely rounded out the buffet of career choices for girls that had not been there before.

I dearly wish more and more young people follow her lead and reach for their stars.
