This is the day the Lord hath made, rejoice in it!
Hi Marion,
Thank you so very musch for the post and for the invitation to join your forum. The post surely, put a smile on my face. I have been in that gentlemans place and the young womans recently and still am. But, nothing can shake my faith. The Lord has a plan for me, I don't know what it is yet, but my faith is carrying me through all the trials and tribulations I am going through at the present time. I'm still smiling even though I am on the virge of losing my house and car. I live in a small country town, no jobs here so I commute 45 minutes to work and 45 minutes back every day.
I have just returned 2 weeks ago after being off due to an injury substained on my previous job and at my age it takes a long time to heal. I need to retire, but can't. Hope to be able to learn to market so hopefully in the next couple of months I can do just that. I am having health problems and my memory's not what it use to be, but my faith is strong enough that it is keeping me holding on, until the Lord decides I have suffered enough and sends help my way.
Sorry, not meaning to depress all, and don't be, because I am blessed. I made it through 56 years. He wakes me up every morning and when you think you are alone, he's always there. I went walking one day and only saw one set of footsteps and thought he had left me there alone. But he hadn't, he actually was carrying me. And when I thought about it I had to smile, and the further I walked the larger the smile became.
Good bless you all,
Beryl Payton
