This is a quick note to any of my friends who are promoting their own websites.

These are some quick notes I jotted down on using doorway pages (BAD).

I'm going to include this important info in my sign up autoresponder as a service to my customers.

Note on the Doorway Page Creator tool.

my-easy-promoter.com provides this tool as some customers still do demand it.

However, be forewarned....using Doorway pages can get your site banned from the major engines.

If you do choose to use doorway page generator tool, do so with extreme caution.

1. Do not use a redirect to another url

2. Make sure DW page has real content

3. Same thing for hyperlinks, real links on page (pertains to 1).

I do not use DW pages at all, ever.

The possible gain is not worth the risk of getting your site banned from google etc..

Iam new at making websites, and I don't know what a doorway page is, can you tell me what it is so I know what to watch out for whan Iam doing my web sites.

Thanks Jason for the Infoo, usually when you have a search engine or ad on words such google they have a set of rules to follow for your URLs.  I have been using my Ojeez link in the Easy-promoter sequences, so as Jason pointed out try to use real content and not a page where they send you to another. http://my-easy-promoter.com/clickthru.Pl?id=tmobil8  here is as i mention before on some other post is an auto-responder http://responsebot.com i use this for my mailing news letters

but my general rule of thumb is just don't use dorrway pages at all.
