Hi Linda,
I am grateful to you for this forum,
you see, today wasn't without it's challenges for me, challenges which look set to change the well laid plans that I had for the week. But without challenges we don't grow or learn or move on. The important thing is to enjoy your inventiveness in overcoming the challenge and seeing if we can turn that challenge into a victory.
Well, it sure means a different gameplan for tomorrow. I was set to drive to the English Midlands to an exhibition and enjoy a day exploring, instead, because I now need extra time to complete a project for a client I am not going, but, not only won't I spend money on fuel, thus helping the planet but I'll get paid for the day and feel satisfaction for the work and final result.
I am grateful that I sleep well.
I am grateful that I can start again tomorrow, refreshed.
I am grateful that I still have enough inteligence to complete tasks which other people are happy to pay for.
Most of all I am grateful for my family and friends who, despite their teasing, are willing to trust me with my grandchildren, their houses, their secrets and their lives. I am so lucky.
Roger
