Re: What is an Anxiety Disorder?
3/17/2007 1:18:18 AM

Hi again Luella,

I did try all the modern methods of therapy and medication non of them worked for me it was out of desperation I found a program that did work.. after spending 2 years in my house without leaving. I was willing to do and try anything and everything and I finally did find one that worked with out drugs.

I agree with you these disorders are not really mental, but emotional issues. I used to jokingly say, I am emotionally retarded due to life style .. When you look up the word dysfunction in the dictionary you will find our family portrait next to it. The program I bought I share with all my family members and friends that are willing to do it. It does take a commitment and about 14 weeks to finish. The results are wonderful.

I know that folks that don't understand these conditions can be cruel I have heard them all.. what do you mean you can't drive a car.. you did for 20 plus years.. oh leave the house there is no boggy man out there.. and my all time favorite suck it up and go .. My husband used to say I can't fix your brain and he was right, but a hug would have been nice .They have no idea how we felt inside nor how scared we were .. if they did they would have more compassion . These illnesses are very real. They effect everything we do and cause us more grief than the outsiders could ever imagine .

Till next time ..

Blessings

Luella      Dythemia   is  kind of almost the same as cronic fatique syndrome.

Hope that helps.

The worst thing that I still have is Insomnia and basically I can sit at my computer until im so tired , that I virtually fall into bed. However it could take another hour or two before I get to sleep. So I still alternate meds for that miss a night, take nothing then next night take a med and miss a night etc.

Keith.
