Hi Marion,
Since the forum started with the thread as "Prayers for the Citizens of the United Kingdom", let's continue to remember them in our prayers. Remember how you felt after 9/11? I personally felt attacked and saddened and this feeling lingered for a long time.
"My heart goes out to the people who have lost loved ones, and I ask dear Lord that you keep them in your care. May your hand lead them through the days of despair and suffering they are going through at the loss of their loved ones. Provide your healing and embrace them with your palpable love as they feel your presence Lord. Show them the way of forgiveness and love as difficult as that is. These are difficult times, show your peace in the midst of confusion and that when mankind truly seeks you LORD that you may be found. Thank you for your loving arms and encouraging words through the angels around us. Give us the grace and the proper words to speak to our brothers and sisters, and when we need to be silent, show us the way to do this and still be supportive to those who need us to listen."
Let's never forget that the freedom we have has come at great cost. Terrorists don't want us to be free to worship, speak or act as we choose. They only have their own agenda in mind for subverting the freedoms that we now have.
"I also pray for Shirley and her sister and all of my friends here at Adland. Thank you Lord for giving opportunity to share and support one another in this way. Thank you Lord for listening to and answering our prayers."
Blessings to you all!
Cheryl
