Great post - introductions to the point of being impersonal and singatures without identification are not a very convincing way of convincing anyone of anything. 

If you dont know the name of the person you are writing to - dont bother to write.  If you have nothing to hid in your signature and can be identified - identify yourself.

Mystery tours are great fun - not with most people's money! lol

And people - dont worry about the blanket - there is always Photoshop!  It does wonders on the bags under your eyes and you dont need a fake photo that way.

I also don't take seriously anyone who sends me emails without their contact info.  I think they don't know that building a business relationship is the best way to do business in the long term.

At first I also thought you were referring to lots of people who may be online in their bathrobes or whatever!
