Joe...about piercing...

I had my ears re-pierced last year because I had them done a long time ago and let the piercings close up.  So last year I went to a tattoo/piercing place and had my ears "done" by what looked like a young runaway Amish man.  He had a long pointy beard, he was around 25 and insisted that I lay down to get my ears pierced.  I thought, okay, this is different than last time when a woman pierced my ears!  He then massaged my earlobes, yikes!  But of course I assumed it must be an important part of the piercing process.  Can you tell I have a high thresh-hold for whatever?  Well he pierced my ears, it went normally but I kept thinking about him for about a month!  Yep, what's wrong with me?  LOL!

Weight ... don't wanna go there!  ... actually I've been getting control of mine again ... still have a ways to go, but feel a lot better about it. 

Are you cancer free now?  I can't imagine all that having cancer entails.  I know several people who either have it or have had it.  Its good to see so many more survivors. 

Our great granddaughter is actually a step one ... Our daughter's husband is  about 7 years older than her and had a 7 year old son when they were married.  Otherwise I'm a grandmother of a 10 & 7 year old.

I insisted the kids call me Granny much to the chagrin of everyone involved.  I guess I had a picture of what a Grandma & Granny looked like and chose the Granny image.  Grandma ... short & rather plump ... Granny ... thin & feisty ... Granny Clampett comes to mind! 

My maternal Grandmother was a Grandma ... paternal Grandmother is a Granny ... she will be 92 in June ... she's likely the only one who didn't have a problem with my being a Granny!
