Thanks for this Marilyn.  It is so true.  For 24 years, I have been giving my husband cards for Christmas, B-day, Anniversary and Valentine's Day.  I never just sign the card, I personalize it with a note or letter that usually reiterates the sentiment of the card and lets him know.  My husband is a very 'tidy" person and one day recently I noticed that one of his drawers was looking a bit mussed up, which is so unlike him.  When I asked about it, I learned that his drawer is now overflowing with all of the cards I have given him.  He won't throw them away because the notes that I have written on them are too special to him.

So - there's my story!

Happy Valentine's day.  I have to go give my husband his card that already has a not on for him to put in the treasure box I gave him for Christmas where he now keeps his cards.
