MY BOYS HAVE TO GO TO IRAQ/Adopt a Soldier
2/14/2007 1:45:50 AM
Hello my friends,
Lets remember our Soldiers around the world and veterans on this Valentines day.
Heres a special place to visit.
You all know my 3 boys are military boys. Well my 2 youngest ones are out now but guess what????
My oldest boy Jason, he was suppose to get out in may, well there sending him back to Iraq instead so he wont be getting out.
He has to go for 1 year.
He already went there before so this will be his second term..
My youngest one Kyle well he lives with my son out on the base at fort Irwin in California.

He was in the army to and got out, but since he lives on base and works at the PX on base, the company he works for is contracting my son Kyle out to go to Iraq as well.So they will both be there together for one year.

Wow, thats scarey for me, both my babies over there again.

So all our valentine soldiers need your prayers. they will be leaving any time between now and May.

Please pray for my 2 sons Jason and Kyle

Kathy,

You have an awesome family!  I would imagine they have a lot of their mother's character.  I post this following Psalms for your comfort and their protection.  Happy Valentine's Day to the mothers of our soldiers:

Psalm 91

 1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
       will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

 2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
       my God, in whom I trust."

 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
       and from the deadly pestilence.

 4 He will cover you with his feathers,
       and under his wings you will find refuge;
       his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

 5 You will not fear the terror of night,
       nor the arrow that flies by day,

 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
       nor the plague that destroys at midday.

 7 A thousand may fall at your side,
       ten thousand at your right hand,
       but it will not come near you.

 8 You will only observe with your eyes
       and see the punishment of the wicked.

 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
       even the LORD, who is my refuge-

 10 then no harm will befall you,
       no disaster will come near your tent.

 11 For he will command his angels concerning you
       to guard you in all your ways;

 12 they will lift you up in their hands,
       so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
       you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

 14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
       I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
       I will be with him in trouble,
       I will deliver him and honor him.

 16 With long life will I satisfy him
       and show him my salvation."

Thank you for sharing the adopt a soldier site.  They really do appreciate having people write to them and encourage them.  Your family has been in my prayers for several weeks, but I will say special prayers for your Soldiers.

Hello All:

Wouldn't it be great if Ms. Kathy (Martin ) Hamilton would share a photo of her sons in the military standing with Mom. I would sure like a few photos of the men and women in uniform that stop by for those great visits too. Once posted, I can send them to my 5,000 plus BCN News subscribers and my contacts in Washinton State.

To those in the military, you have my gratitude.
