Hi Mahlon,

I'm going to be honest with you my friend (How can I be otherwise and keep my credibility..lol)
I looked at your site in a previous ad I got through the community contact and the first thing that got me was I couldn't get the information I wanted to make a decision to look further. Nothing turns me off more than a site that won't tell me that the product is, who the company is, who are the owners, what the comp plan is etc..
If I have to go to a webinar or seminar, taking valuable time away from my other activities, just to find those things out, we're already past strike three. I already know by experience that I'm going to get the sales pitch to pump me up, but I don't work that way at all, and I think these days people are just immune to those kinds of offers.
I want the time to know more about the company before I'll spend the time for the "pitch". It's my way of protecting myself from being carried away by those slick talking promo guy's (not saying that's with your system)
So I can only surmise that other people are feeling the same way about that, and this is why nobody's looking..?
Hope this helps you.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Tom, I hate having to fill in forms to get more info. It would be great if all the info was on the site, with the option of attending the Webinar where more detials are provided and questions could be answered. God luck! Yvette

I think it is good that you are attempting to capture subscription info. That is a surefire way to find out if your suspect prospects are interested in your offer.

Let's look at the offer for a sec. What does this info do for the visitor? It only offers an opportunity not marketing information. The 'HOW' of something. People will only show interest if it's something of perceived high value for them.

My question to you is who are you targeting? It is important to identify your market. If you are marketing at sites like adland your target market would be other networkers. I can almost gaurantee you that most networkers here don't care about another opportunity, they already have problems with the opportunity they have. I like to refer to what I have dubbed the KLT factor,

They don't care until they know, like and trust you. How do you get them to that point? I would suggest picking a niche around skills developement in network marketing. You know something like phone mastery, leads generation, email marketing, traffic generation. Pick one and learn as much as you can about that subject and share that knowledge using your lead capture page. The content must be meaty because you are out for the KLT factor.

Keep hot content about skills developement in front of them. Personal development or attraction marketing works very well. In your email messages just drip you opportunity using subtle recommendations. Use your sig file.

Now you are the perceived expert in the subscribers eyes. Just let timing do its thing. When the time is right for the subscriber they'll take a look at your opportunity because you were the one that helped them when everyone else was trying to sell them on an opportunity. Usually 2-3 months depending on their personality. Analytical people take longer.

It's a little slower process but guess what? You now have educated recruits ready to rock and roll with confidence.

I hope this helps.

Hi Mario,

Excellent post and to a point I would agree that's what the site Mahlon is using is attempting to do, but my feeling that others were turned off just as I was by the lack of information is confirmed by the other post here.
Your suggestion is the most effective method of achieving success online today.
Without developing your own presence and "visibility" it's almost guaranteed that you will fail.
Developing that presence isn't really all that hard either.
I especially liked your KLT statement. So True!
That your post was meaningful and to the topic was not lost on me either ;-)

Best regards,
T
