Hi Marilyn!  :-)

Awesome post!  I absolutely loved the quotes!  Stephen R. Covey is one of my favorites!

This line of thought (listening & being right or wrong) brings me to mind of something a friend of mine  has always said:

"There are 2 things in this universe that govern peoples' actions.  Just 2 things that propel them to do the things they do.  Greed.....and EGO!"

Food for thought.........I would have to assume however - that if there were no EGO - greed could not exist.  I feel greed is Ego's shadow.....But you see the point.

Thanks very much for your wonderful response. I agree with you completely...it is a shame that those that do not know how to listen, and only know how to talk about themselves, do not learn this. Thanks for the great advice!
