If the Internet is used to ultimately equip the parent/guardian to be a better parent/guardian, then good on ya...but certainly not at the expense of precious little time to invest with those quickly growing up in their wonder years.

Dr. James Dobson said it best with words coming from the radio, "Love is spelled by children as T-I-M-E."

I am going to agree to disagree in this subject.

While the INTERNET does have some great features, especially if children or adults are doing study, then it is a great tool to find information for whatever studies are being done. However, the INTERNET can be very addictive and many people even that I know of, live their life, sitting by the computer day after day playing games and chatting to people on line. There are also many scams on the INTERNET and devious people sitting behind computers, that have and do, such in young people but using false profiles and ages etc. Also it is sometimes yet another thing with modern technology , that helps to break up the family unit.

Many marriages have been broken up by people meeting others on line and moving to another country or city with a new partner, which very often does not work out. Technology in the last 10 years as moved too fast and we have forgotten our traditions because of this. It does have good points but with it, there are a lot of negatives, for the unwary.
