I remember the good ol' days of when every kid was NOT # 1.
A few years ago when my son was around 7...several yrs ago...he was in a kids marathon and some brilliant person thought ALL the kids should have a white t-shirt with a big # 1 on front of ALL of them. After the race, we couldn't find our kids! It was a big race, around 100 kids and hundreds of parents and siblings. If the kids were each wearing a different shirt we could have found our own, and lots of parents were getting anxious because it was taking a LONG time for everyone to find their own kid. Everyone being # 1 was a very bad idea!
