I have not found a good place to sell my work yet. I know if I was near a bigger city I would have a better chance. So far online, I have only sold a few of my pieces and the smaller craft shows around this area are very hit and miss with sales. Plenty of work for not much reward.
To get into the bigger shows costs plenty and I just can't afford the risk. It takes so many sales just to break even and you feel you have spent so much time and talent for nothing.
I would really like to get my work into galleries or even nicer craft stores but haven't pursued that strongly. I tried a couple but it didn't work out.
I think if you make less expensive items that don't take a lot of time to make, you can do well at local craft shows.
I'm open to any ideas. Thanks for getting this started.
