Thank you for your comments,
yes I have always written down things I needed to accomplish each day,I started doing it so I would remember All the things I had to do, but then it came to me that wow I did accomplish everything I set out to do each day.It actually felt good that I did accomplish everything I did.
So I always tell every one to write down there things,I tell them to write down a plan  for the day.I tell them to write down Pros ans Cons.I was just telling John Stipe to write down certain things to compare.
I am a firm believer that if you write down things its like a contract with your self or like a affirmation you are making with your self.
Over at Path connect community they have a goal board they ask you to complete, I like the results.It keeps me focused I look at it often and it is just a reminder for what I am shooting for and in what direction.
