Hi Pauline,

Thank you so very much for inviting me here.  I have been a fan of Ruth's for a very long time!  I have always admired her "sticktuitiveness" - her undying and steadfast belief that no matter what happened that she was a child of God, that he was going to watch over her and pull her through.

I always like to draw on the strength that was demonstrated by Ruth.  I think she is the strongest women of the Bible.  The bitterness would come so easily if not for knowing that how ever bad things might get, that the Lord will pull us through.

This is a great forum.  Can't wait to watch it grow and for the next one.  hmmmmm, I wonder which of the zillion passages of the Bible you will choose next.

God Bless, my friend!

Judy

TO MY DEAREST PAULINE IN THE FAITH, I THANK YOU FOR YOUR INVITE AND WISH TO MAKE SOME INFLUENCIAL BACK GROUNDS ON SUBJECTS AND GIVE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO YOUR FORUM AS WELL AS MY OWN (ENCOURAGE MY SOUL). I WILL HAVE TO GET THAT TO YOU IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY JOINED? I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE SOME THOUGHT ON THIS OF SISTER RUTH, VERY ENCOURAGING WOMAN SHE WAS, THANK GOD FOR THE INSPERATIONS SHE HAD.Dear Father, I am eager to be a good learner. I want to get beyond needing milk meant for babies. I want to digest the solid food of your word. I want to be skilled in righteousness, able to distinguish good from evil. Let me move past the elementary teachings of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance. Help me to lay hold of those "better things" that belong to salvation. Thank you, God, for remembering the work and love that I render for your sake in serving your holy people. May I realize the assurance of hope right to the end, so that I may not be sluggish, but may imitate those who through faith and patience inherit your promises. In the name of Jesus I ask. Amen. HEBREWS CHAPTERS 5:11-6:4,9-12 pAULINA I OFTEN TIMES PUT MY WALKS WITH cHRIST DOWN IN WORDS SO THAT I KNOW THAT I AM TRULY WALKING WITH HIM, LETTING MY DOCTERINE WORK. SO I HAVE PREPARED FOR THIS YEAR WITH ALL MY WALKS WITH GOD TO SEND TO A FEW FORUMS HERE AT ADLAND TO GIVE BACK A LITTLE PIECE OF ME TO YOU ALL. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN...GOD BLESS, AND ENJOY THE DAY/NIGHT. WITH LOVE...THOMAS.

Hello my dear friend Paula,

I am so glad you shared this with me. This world is in need of a Savior and we are all they see. The story of Ruth has great significance of how our attitude should be in every circumstance.

Funny you should share this with me today. I have a very dysfunctional brother and sister in law...both with bi-polar (manic depressive called by some). They are living on welfare and my brother has been in and out of prison since he was 16....and he is 44. Very difficult situation and their two little boys are unstable and it hurts me to see this. They go to church but just don't have victory in their lives.

Just today I had a problem with him on the phone and he was rude and hung up on me. This is quite a test of what I will do and how I will act. Reflecting on the Word of God and Ruth's story brought me to a better place of humility and grace. Isn't Gods timing and dealing with our lives amazing.

I needed this my dear sister in Christ. I was very hurt today and now I am letting it go and forgiving. Jesus has forgiven us and has taught us to forgive others. But when the rubber hits the road, how are we really going to react. I hope that I will always reflect the goodness of Jesus, even when I am in adverse situations. That is my cry and pray, to have others see the love and mercy of Jesus in me.

Thanks again my dear precious friend, may we continue to show the love of our wonderful Savior Jesus to a world that needs Him so much

Lovingly, Cindy
