I think little kids are still very close to heaven, and the older we get, sometimes we wander far from it...and then when we feel we're close to old age, we try to get there gracefully!

My 18-yr-old niece didnt want to attend their family cat's euthanasia or the burial in the backyard, the cat was almost the same age as my niece.  I personally think we need closure at the death of a pet, just like attending a relative's funeral.

Hello Kathleen!

I have a theory that children are God's precious gift to us, and when they arrive the purity is unmistakable, but as they get older they are corrupted by their peers, the media and of course the beliefs that exist in the parents. It seems that as humans we have a tendency to change what we do not like or understand. A true Christian that has a strong belief does not try to change but accepts the love, just like a child!

OK, my dear friend, I will have to update the picture as the one on my profile is about 3-1/2 years old.  The top of the head you can barely see is my now 4 year old grandson!!  And, believe it or not he's the youngest of the grandkids. And you better believe this - Art Linkletter was a real person!  REALLY (LOL)

The years mean NOTHING - there's a lot of pepper left in this old tomatoe!  You are as young as you feel and I'm just a big kid at heart

All kidding aside, if you want an honest answer, ask a child.  If you want pure, untainted answers and sometime total hilarity - ask a kid!

God bless and have a great day!

Judy

Dear Judy

Would I be giving a secret away if I told you I will be 56 in June and remember Art Linkletter very well. I guess you and I both carry the secret of keeping our age but what it boils down to is LOVE. Love thy fellow man, love your mate and all children and animals and love God - Can't go wrong there!
