What Are You Grateful For Today?
1/12/2007 10:55:03 AM

You may already know that expressing Gratitude is one of the most powerful things we can do to raise our energetic vibratinos.

"Expressing gratitude for what we already have enables it to grow." ~ Louise Hay

The feeling of Gratitude is one of the highest vibrations on the scale of consciousness according to Dr. David Hawkins in his book, Power v. Force, and others.

A very powerful way to create success in your life is the simple act of finding something for which to be grateful in every moment of every day.

Whenever things do not appear to be going your way... stop... and find SOMETHING for which you are grateful.

There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for, regardless of your present circumstances.

And... when you are in a state of Gratitude, you are in the moment, in the "now" and all that you desire is more likely to come your way.

At this moment, I am grateful for...

My comfortable home and office where I communicate with you.

My wonderful husband Dennis who supports me in all of my adventures.

My family who loves me unconditionally.

My two chihuahuas who remind me to live in the moment.

Won't you join us here daily to express your Gratitude?

What are you grateful for today?

What Are You Grateful For Today?
1/12/2007 11:31:45 AM

Hi Linda,

I'm grateful for everything.  I have too many blessings to count.  I am grateful for my angel of a daughter, for being able to see, and hear, and walk and breathe.  Life is beautiful.  Here's a story I would like to share:

A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed
each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably coifed and
shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing
home today.

His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home,
he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.   As he maneuvered his
walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny
room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window.  "I
love it," he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having
just been presented with a new puppy.   "Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the
room; just wait."  "That doesn't have anything t o do with it," he
replied.   "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether
I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged
...
it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. "It's a
decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can
spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of
my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the
ones that do.    Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll
focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away. Just
for this time in my life. Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw
from what you've put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot
of happiness in the bank account of memories! Thank you for your part in
filling my Memory bank. I am still depositing."

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4.Give more.
5. Expect less.

Alana

Hi Alana,

Thank you for that story.  I guess it's been around a while and it offers a great lesson.

I am grateful to say my husband is really like that.  He chooses to be happy at all time.  He carries his sunshine with him.

I am grateful that my husband is one of my greatest teachers.

Thank YOU for being here, Alana.
