Hi, Mary,
No doubt it is fairly obvious that I have stayed simply for the non marketing forums.
When much of your time is spent just staying alive, it is often over-looked just how valuable it is for people like myself to be able to test their mettle against others with strong views.
As you can see, I don't even use a signature block any more but that is a matter of choice because I have found that I simply don't have the time or necessary dedication to really concentrate on marketing my programmes and web sites.
There are some fantastic opportunities here, at Adland, and it is a matter of selecting those which best serve your purpose.
No doubt, once I get myself back into some sort of fighting fitness I will re-evaluate my status at Adland but I cannot see that I will leave, totally, unless things get so bad that they are beyond redemption - your forum has, I am sure, made this a very unlikely proposition.
My friends list is slowly growing again and, to all of those and the people who once were on my friends list I say a very huge 'Thank you'.
The big secret of Adland is to find what suits you, work at that and then grow your involvement - small steps can make a long journey more enjoyable by presenting endless opportunities as you look around the corners you come to.
