I am surprised but delighted that you use to use cloth diapers (nappies as they are called in New Zealand) I was beginning to think they were a 'thing of the past'! I used cloth for both of my children when they were babies. Those days were a long time ago too! My daughter turned 25 and my son will be 23 in a couple of days.
I use to buy a product called Nappy Rinse to keep them whitened and brightened and take out the smell also I hung the laundry outside on the line. I miss outside drying since moving to the States, nobody has outside lines anymore.
I used Nappy Rinse for soaking of ordinary clothing rather than bleaches, so much gentler on the fabric.
But, getting back to the uses of vinegar, thank you for sharing this tip. There are many uses for this inexpensive kitchen essential.
