Hello everyone!

I just couldn't help sharing these valuable lessons from children.

Make a joyful day!

Mike

WET PANTS

Come with me to a third grade classroom..... There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and the front of his pants are wet. He thinks his heart is going to stop because he cannot possibly imagine how this has happened. It's never happened before, and he knows that when the boys find out he will never hear the end of it. When the girls find out, they'll never speak to him again as long as he lives.

The boy believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his head down and prays this prayer, "Dear God, this is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes from now I'm dead meat."

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been discovered.

As the teacher is walking toward him, a class mate named Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water. Susie trips in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water in the boy's lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is saying to himself, "Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!"

Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule, the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants dry out. All the other children are on their hands and knees cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful. But as life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has been transferred to someone else - Susie.

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out. You've done enough, you klutz!"

Finally, at the end of the day, as they are waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers, "You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Susie whispers back, "I wet my pants once too."

May God help us see the opportunities that are always around us to do good..

Each and everyone one of us is going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.

The Prayer:

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings.
In the name of JESUS, Amen.

The road to success is not straight.
There is a curve called Failure,

a loop called Confusion,

speed bumps called Friends,

red lights called Enemies,
caution lights called Family.

You will have flats called Jobs.

But, if you have a spare called Determination,

an engine called Perseverance,

insurance called Faith,

a driver called Jesus,

you will make it to a place called Success.

Philippians 4:13 --- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

To Your Success,

Mike

Please do not misunderstand me. I am not condeming wealth. Money is NOT evil. The love of it (i.e. making it our god) IS though. The wisdom of this instruction is beautiful told in the story that follows from an inspiring man, Tom Moore. Have a blessed day, Mike

The story of a butterfly named “Maculinea Arion” is most instructive. The creature lays its eggs on a plant, and after feeding on the plant for several weeks the young caterpillar makes its way to the ground. In order to complete its development, it must meet a certain kind of ant. When such an ant meets the caterpillar, the ant strokes it with its antennae, and the caterpillar exudes a sweet fluid from a special gland on its tenth segment. Apparently the ant likes this substance, because it then carries the caterpillar home to its nest. There the ants drink the sweet fluid exuded by the caterpillar. And, what does the caterpillar eat? - The baby ants. The ants show their appreciation to the caterpillar by letting him spend the winter in a special cavity of their nest. It continues to eat the young ants until spring. Eventually it emerges as an adult butterfly and flies away to establish more of its kind. And the cycle starts all over again.

Some people are not much different from these ants. For you see, they cherish a luxury item to the injury of themselves. This is why Paul said, “For the love of money is the root of all kinds evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Tim. 6:10).

Think About It!

Have A Great Day!

The place was on Lake Michigan just off the shore of Winnetka, Illinois. There was a terrible storm in which a steamboat was slammed by another boat. The sunken steamboat lost 279 of 393 passengers to the raging waters of that Great Lake.

Edward Spencer was a bystander on shore. The tragedy was vividly in his sight. His Good Samaritan nature moved him to risk his life to save anyone he could. One by one, Mr. Spencer pulled victims to the safety of the shore. Seventeen were brought to safety before the young, strong man collapse from the strain and fatigue of his efforts. He later learned that the nerves in his legs were so severely damaged that walking would never again be possible. For the rest of his life his mobility would depend upon a wheel chair.

At age eighty, long after this tragic and life changing event, he was asked what stood out most about that day and the days following. "Not one person came back to thank me, not then, not ever!"

Unspeakable, atrocious are thoughts that might come our minds. How could anyone be unthankful after another had risked their life to save mine? But wait; ask yourself how many times have you and I taken the time to thank God for all He has done for us? The story of ten lepers is revealed in Luke 17:11-19. Only one out the ten lepers that were healed came back to thank the Lord? The Lord said, “Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine? Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?”

Thankfulness is frequently addressed in the New Testament. We aren't to do good deeds simply to be noticed or even thanked. We are required though to be thankful. The apostle Paul admonishes God's people to be thankful, "In everything give thanks" (1 Thessalonians 5:1Cool.

When we can do little else, we can pray and be thankful.

Thank you for being the great people you are.

Mike.

Louisa May Alcott is quoted: "I often think flowers are the angels' alphabet whereby they write on hills and fields mysterious and beautiful lessons for us to feel and learn."

Flowers seem to have a calming and soothing affect on many people. After all, they're sent for almost any occasion; to cheer the sick, to calm mourners and pay tribute to the deceased, to say "I love you" or simply "hello, I'm thinking of you."

Nothing touches my life that hasn't first passed through the hand of God. He knows what is best for me. I will trust His hand in my life, believing that He sees how all things work together.

"So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you." Colossians 3:12-13 NASB

Make a wonderful day!

Mike
