When advertising your banner ads anywhere, You should always use the full url for your link. The snipit url or shrinking urls are good for mailers, capture pages, and rotators in traffic exchanges.

Just thought Id pass this along. I hate to see anyone throwing their money away on ads that are not working.

You can always check your banner ads also by clicking them before you leave the site.
