Yes the reason for the season is to celibrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I believe that this is something that should be done daily by Christians that profess to know Him.

I have read and studied several versions of the Bible and I have never found a scripture that commands us to set aside any single day to Worship Jesus, run out and spend money in stores that will not even display "Merry Christmas" in their store because it might offend a person that is not a beliver.

I agree there is not specific day mentioned in scripture to worship Jesus the Christ.. it is a day that has been adopted as a holiday .. we should worship everyday not just during a holiday ..
