Da Cat
I treaded softlah down ma stone road and came 'cross a cat. Snickered, and stared with dem yellow eyes and brushed ma leg and let out a silky, Meeeeooow
Followed 'bout nine miles down, still kept a walkin' kept a walkin' Still walkin'
Cat followed swiftly directin' da path, dem orange an black stripes claws...dem claws gripped da earth.
Stopped.
Stared eye ta eye toes curled like dried worms do claws screeched, still grippin' Brushed ma leg again. On da corner a clear patch of grass We played.
Stopped.
Kept down da stone path like a maze wid high brown-green walls.
We Wuz lost.
