I heard about the germs that purses can carry. I have to say that I have never sat my purse on the kitchen counter or on the restroom floor. There are usually hooks on the back of the door in public restrooms; that were I hang my purse.

You know another thing is luggage. I never put my luggage on the bed. Think about everyplace it has been during traveling.

Hi Carla, Washing the purse is a good idea. I just never did that. Purse on the floor is also bad because it can be stolen by a long arm bandit.

Well, Hi Lady Angel of Spain, Thanks for stopping in. Really now , you want us to wash our money???? Well yes, coins and bills are very dirty and carriers of disease.....therefore I spend it as fast as I can. I stay healthy and poor.

Thanks a bunch, Mary, this is a great article.  I never thought about this before, wow, how gross a purse gets. It never occured to me just because my purse doesn't look diry means it's clean.
