Hello my gentlemen friends, I need your help in finding the right person to help me. My son has been collecting baseball cards and basketball cards and soccer cards for so many years.I need your assistance in finding out how to know if they are worth alot of money so I can put towards my Daughter Mollys Trip To Europe. My son says there probably worth alot of money but does not have time to mess with them. How do I find out and sell them and not get ripped off???How do I know there value?? Go to a few sports collector shops and do some research. You can searh ebay where there are hundreds of collectors selling.

Beckett's is really the standard in determining the value of collector cards and if you go to a collector's shop they will have an issue of Beckett's publication. Take that home with you and you can look them up yourself. As far as actually selling them there are many ways to do so: Ebay is one and you will probably make the most money that way but I would imagine you might need someone to make an appraisal of certain high value cards.
