Thank you Ally,

That actually sounds a lot like me! LOL

And Venerina,

I believe I said in my post that I often stand off and what I meant by that is that I am aware I have this huge heart and that it can be abused and so I DON'T invest myself as much as I could because I know I could get hurt too much...

used up...or drained if you will.

I have a few friends (close) and sometimes opportunities to have more but I just don't have enough energy to invest as much in them as I do those I already have so I just appreciate them from a distance (emotionally I mean).

However, I do invest too much into my friends sometimes and I do get very tired.  I realize I do this to myself but, just can't seem to help myself!!

Some of them are a lot of work! LOL

AND yes you CAN have love and compassion for people you don't love or even like very much. Compassion is what kept me with my ex husband for a long time because he really needed help. But, I didn't really like him very much!

I'm a great listener, even to people who have no clue they drive me nuts!

AND I also know I have the gift to bring a little joy because one of my fave things to do is be nice to the cranky people and make them like me! LOL

I had three or four cranky men who used to come in the bakery and I would just be nice to them so that now even years later they still speak to me and smile when they see me...woohoo!!

I may have taken a little extra effort but I think it paid off in the end because they felt special for a few minutes every time I served them coffee or bread...and I think a lot of times cranky people are just getting you before you get them!

Anyway, thank you for your kind sentiments!

Dawn

Hello Sis,

Well, I just happened to be checking some things out this morning and found this forum of yours, which I did not know existed before! This is a great topic that you have started, and one that I have much to say about!

Well, as far as how far will I go in the name of love...I just went about 3,000 miles away from my home and family to be with the man that I love with all of my heart! I would have traveled farther if need be because he is the most wonderful man I have ever known and I want to spend the rest of my life with him!

THere are many things that I do for love, especially for my love of people. I have always helped people out in many different ways, whether it be people I know or perfect strangers. One thing I do is counseling or mentoring people to have a more positive mindset about life and about themselves. Another very important issue to me that I help people with is mental and emotional well being! I have helped people that were comtemplating suicide to get the help that they needed, and turn their life around.

I have a great passion for helping people and also for teaching others, that is why I do what I do here at AdlandPro! I have alot of passion for this community and if I can touch the life of just one person then I have succeeded to accomplish a great feat! I do this not for me but for everyone here and for God first and foremost. God tells us to love thy neighbor as we love thyself, and when we do for others it will come back to us tenfold. That is the only reward that I need for being me! And yes, I do this many times when I am in tremendous pain and always with little sleep! But I can't help it because I do not know of any other way of being, nor do I want to know any other way!

I love people unconditionally, which means you love no matter what the circumstances. Many people do not know or have that type of love and it is a shame really because one can lose out on so much by having conditions of their love!

There is my love for you too Venerina, my new found Sister, whom I love with all my heart! You are more of a Sister to me than my blood sisters are!

Thanks for this forum, it was great writing in here. I could go on and on about this topic but I must end now unfortunately.

God Bless You Always,

Love Always, Marilyn

Hello Venerina, The intangible is becoming reality, most of the children being born now are different, it's just a matter of time as science catches up with the spiritual. http://www.greatdreams.com/indigo.htm See here: http://www.agoracosmopolitan.com/home/Frontpage/2007/01/08/01288.html Quote: "Scientists find Extraterrestrial genes in Human DNA Do civilizations of advanced human beings exist scattered in the Galaxy? by John Stokes A group of researchers working at the Human Genome Project indicate that they made an astonishing scientific discovery: They believe so-called 97% non-coding sequences in human DNA is no less than genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms. The non-coding sequences are common to all living organisms on Earth, from moulds to fish to humans. In human DNA, they constitute larger part of the total genome, says Prof. Sam Chang, the group leader. Non-coding sequences, originally known as "junk DNA", were discovered years ago, and their function remained a mystery. The overwhelming majority of Human DNA is “Off-world” in origin. The apparent “extraterrestrial junk genes” merely “enjoy the ride” with hard working active genes, passed from generation to generation." Click the link to read the full article. Find the connection with our thoughts and our DNA: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8655881191636417153&q=what+the+bleep This movie is called "What The Bleep Do We Know" and it stars Marlee Matlin, the deaf actress who was in "Children of a Lesser God".
