Re: How far are you prepared to go in the name of love?

So let me understand. It seems you are referring to "Romantic Love" So when we are smitten by Cupid's arrow how far are we wiling to go in order to scratch the itch as it were. So if this is the question, I can answer that in my younger days when I didn't know my you know what from a hole in the ground, I have been known to exhibit some pretty creative if not extreme behaviors. I will not go into these in a public forum such as this but suffice to say that us full blooded Italians have quite the capacity to swoon as it were and I swooned with the best of them. That is until I was out-swooned by Anna!

There are a few points I would like to add.

Love must be give and take from both parties.

Some people smother others with love.  I like the verse that says something like "If you love something set it free, it really is yours it will return".

You must love yourself before you can love another.

It is possible to love many people in many different ways.

I agree with you Shirley, :-)

Love isn't always about holding on to someone, it's about letting them go.....
