I guess the way I can really relate to the old man is because .... I have given bits of my heart to so many people, over the years ... people I have met who showed me kindness, strangers who behaved like friends .... people I worked with ... people who needed it more than me .... people who didn't deserve it ... but ... every person left a trace ... one that I wouldn't change for the world ...
