Thanks for your post, yes there are many more army stories but I just did the abridged version.

In the regiment we also had a tank fitted with a dozer blade and one with the automated bridgelayer, the main armament on our tanks was 120mm and we used to go to Senalager to the ranges there to fire our main guns.

Transported by the happy Poles who used to drive the tank transporters called Antars, do you remember how frightening it was loading your tank on one of these things, watching the hand instructions and then staring into space as your tank went into a 55 degree angle and trusting to luck that your front end would come down on the transporter and not fall off sideways?

Yes I know senelager well lol.

The Mojo's as we called them with their antars were a great bunch of guys.

Talking about 55% angles and staring into space, Remember the knife edge on the off road driver taining course in bovington?  lol

They would never take us on road training on a Monday morning  it was always off road, wonder why?

Could it possible be remotely connected to the fact we still hadn't sobered up from the weekend?
