Dear Kathy, I really appreciate you doing this for me, but I really think you should have first found out from me as to how I feel about this before going ahead with it. At the start of the voting 2 of my close friends wished to do the same but I objected...saying to them, 'let the votes come in as it does' those were my very words. The reason I feel this way is because of the feathers it would ruffle....and from here I can see thats exactly whats happening...John P its wonderful to see how passionate you are about Chris winning...he is indeed a great guy who deserves to win, and I would cast my vote for him !!!!! So there you are dear, you have my feedback on how I feel, its not about the awards...to me I am a winner already...I have won so many great and loving friends, and I wouldnt trade that for any AWARD in the world....So people, PLEASE im begging you dont lets fight over this!!!Believe me when I say that I have'nt even seen what the tally is since yesterday...but Chris I know was in way ahead.....so CONGRATS CHRIS....YOU ARE THE WINNER SO LETS START THE CELEBRATIONS FOLKS...!!!!!!! Way to go, Pauline, you have said so well what I have always felt about the POTW.  it is very nice and there are a LOT of deserving wonderful people here.  I see my name on the nomination list and proceed to vote for someone who has done me a great service (- like you this week).  I feel like I am already a winner for having made friends here and would not trade even a piece of one of those friendships for an award.  I would feel exactly as you do about being paraded or compaigned for by anyone.  Let the votes fall where they may and leave the campaigns to the politicians who - in this country, right here and right now are driving me crazy with their campaign ads and promotions.
