Thank you Leonard.
We all say "It can't happen to me".
A few years ago I went into a corner gas station late at night in the middle of an ice storm in Arlington, TX. There was nobody around, the place was dead. So I felt comfortable leaving my car running as I ran inside to grab a soda. You know how these little gas station stores are, there's big windows and you can see outside easily.
I grabbed the sodas from the case and turned around to look out the window - you guessed it, my car was gone!
It was illegal for me to leave my keys in the ignition when the car is unattended - so had I followed the law I wouldn't have had had the inconvenience.
The moral of the story - Use common sense and take note of warnings such as this.
Thank you again Leonard for keeping us aware.
Your friend,
Janet
