My dear Geketa ...
First and foremost ----- I LOVE RAMBLERS ---- you could never ramble too much in my eyes .... so you ramble away everytime you feel like it ... you ramble it and I'll read it and reply to it ....
I agree totally with your view ... in fact I would say that "reality" only exists in the mind of the person who is constructing it ... like I said to Jill ... unless two people can establish a common ground within their own perceptions ... then they will never mutually understand each other ...
Human interaction is based on a series of prior information/experiences held in knowledge banks ... processed by the conscious mind and stored in the subconscious mind ... which I will post about at a later date ... and is only transmitted through effective communication skills, adaptability and, what is known in Neuro Linguistic Programming, as detached analysis of the said communication being transmitted ... (i.e. the ability to stand back and analyse what's going on between two individuals during communication)...
Sometimes we refuse to open our minds for fear of what we may find ... for fear of the unknown and because an old set of believed realities are easier to accept and to deal with ... than having to make new ones ...
However, my friend ... it is perfectly normal, and healthy for people's realities to change ... it is a sign of maturity, strength and courage and being true to the ever changing circumstances and environment around us ... one would hope that we all change all the time ... we grow ... our feelings change ... we open oursleves up to new possibilities and yes ... sometimes we suffer disappointment because of it ... but like Jill said ... everything is part of the learning process.
A big warm Madeiran Hug to you ... as the sun is out here today ...
