The Dance
I talked to a stranger the other day I was impressed by the way He expressed his feelings about his life The story was long and filled with strife
It was about how he lived along the way He had nothing, just an old shack Worn and tatered clothes, a mattress on the floor where he would lay, nothing more.
We exchanged stories He and I How we lived by and by The he said "I would be proud to call you friend" I agreed and clasped his hand.
We went on it seemed like hours Talking and laughing, I could feel the power Of love of life in this man Living his life the best he can.
He said "When life seems to hard to bear You get up off your chair hum some music remember romance with all your might you start to dance".
