Hi sweet Pauline,

Thanks for the invite and thanks for sharing that very touching story. It brought back some really sweet memories of my dad moving all the tables out of the way in the living room when I was young and teaching me how to dance.  We listened to big band music and Frank Sinatra.. WE waltz, we (cha chaed) sp, we jitter bugged ,two steps he taught me all kinds of dances . He and mom used to compete in dance contest when they were young.

Mom and me would take turns with dad, poor guy would be worn out as we both loved to dance.

Great story, Pauline!  I'm so touched...

It reminded me of the slow dance I had with my own daughter at a brownie function.  It was the only time we've ever shared such a dance and I'll always remember it.   These special moments are what it's all about.
