Wonderful story Pauline thanks for sharing

Very nice story Pauline! Iam afraid my father has passed on many years ago but the special moment we shared was the night before he was killed at work. Dad loved Jerry Lewis and the theatre where I worked was playing his last movie he would ever make. Dad, Mom and I went to see him and Dad sat between Mom and I and held our hands and we laughed and laughed thru out the whole show it was a great night and a very special memory! Dad was killed the next day when an earthmover he was working on ran over him when he kicked the engine on to see what was wrong with it. Apparently whoever parked it there for maintence forgot to block the tires and it threw him under the wheels. I still miss him to this day, all of us kids (6) were much closer to Dad than Mom and it was very hard on us! I am glad to have that last fun memory with him!

Dear Susan, thank you for sharing about your father, Im sorry he had to go the way he did...time is a great healer....see its these things that seem so small that make up the most treasured memories one could have, and look back on in time to come....yeh I luv that old song 'memories are made of this'.
