Dear Venerina, that was a wonderfully written piece and so very true! I love this community also and the things that some people have been doing and saying lately makes my heart very heavy. I have seriously thought about just leaving and be done with all this mess those people have created! But I feel that is the wrong thing to do as it is just what they want (I think!). I feel a great loss every time a friend is driven out by public ridicule and slander. I too wish for a utopian society and I really do not believe it is impossible to achieve if everyone would live by the golden rule "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE DONE UNTO YOU" Everyone keeps complaining that  there are 40,000 people in Adlands but only a few hundred, maybe thousand post or vote in the forums. I wonder why? Is it because they sit back and watch all this bad behavior and say " I'm not getting too involved in this place it is full of nuts!" I wonder? Maybe they are the smart ones? I hope we can get  back to being kind, decent human beings and think before we speak so we won't hurt anyone else!

Yes, I do in fact love this community.  I have joined many, many Networking Communties over the past few years.  Some I still belong to and many I do not.  However, I can sincerely say that I have found no other Community that even comes close to matching the wonderful people whom I have met here at Adland.  The Spirit of Friendship, the Willingness to share, and the many kind words of Encouragement that I have found here at Adland have been a Blessing.  Friends, as you say, come from all walks of life, from all ethnic backgrounds and from all belief systems, and from time to time, will dissagree.  However, when push comes to shove, a true Friend has always got your back, and this has always proven true, for me at least, among my Friends here at Adland.

As for you having another "Brainwave", at my age when I have one, I call it a "Senior Moment", and as for being "off the wall", I prefer to call that "eccentric", and feel that it gives me more Character.  What I am trying to say is, Don't change a thing, I really admire you the way you are, with "Character".

I truly believe that nothing happens in our lives by Chance.  Our Father leads us in certain Directions for a reason.  I thank Him every day for leading me to this Wonderful Community and for giving me the opportunity to meet the Great Friends that I've already met and those whom I look forward to meeeting in the future.
