hello Nick,,  Thats electrifieing!!!   i had always had an interest in power.. i watched myth busters ;; Fly a 8 foot kite with a wire hooked to it 400 ft up or more? Tied down to two large (bell) type metal objects. useing a metal nut and string as a pendalin between them it would charge up from the (electricity) in the sky from the kite. the pendalin would charge pos/ and then jump to the other bell and stick as neg/ then jump back to recharge. The bells were also grounded to the ground for the discharge.  [one of the guys touched the neg/ bell and it showed a spark (bite) him leaveing a burnt mark] .. NOTE there were no storm clouds around and they did this test in a miltary no fly Zone for the kite was above the (allowed) kite flying highth..

Katherine, the more I read your replies that more I grow to love you, I mean admire you - LOL You really know your stuff. I did an article not to long ago that the story of Ben Franklin's experiment was not quite as accurate as history makes it out to be. The big wigs in education are in the process of evaluating the history books and correcting the misconceptions. I would love to meet you in person one day and talk over a cup of coffee, I bet I would be in intellectual heaven for hours - Peace and Love always Katherine !
