An Exchange that has been bringing in unique hits for me is TS 25.
The more you surf, the higher syndicate (group of 25 surfers that surfed about the same amount of sites the week before) you are in.
Your syndicates worth (the amount of sites the hole group surfed that week) is split between the group at the end of the week and you all start over for the next week.
I have been ranking around 200 - 500 and recieve in the neighborhood of 1000 free hits every week.
They also have prizes for finding letters to spell words. One contest for you, and one for your syndicate.
You can win Mega Hits with the syndicate one, which is easier and more fun working together.

Anyway, as of late I have been exstencivly researching Traffic exchanges, safelists, list builders, ad blasters and tracking, so I might be able to toss some info in for your readers.
How about a different thread for each type of advertising? It would be easy to find the info you wanted that way.
