Helen Keller On June 27 the world will celebrate the 126th anniversary of Helen Keller's birth. Deaf and blind from infancy, Helen Keller played a leading role in most of the significant political, social, and cultural movements of the 20th century. Throughout her lifetime (1880-1968) she worked unceasingly to improve the lives of people who were blind and deaf. Hi Bogdan, Thanks for the great quote from a great lady. Helen Keller is certainly one who should be honored and respected for her amazing accomplishment. Only I have a problem with the word "but" as it negates that which preceeds it. I submit it is a word most people use incorrectly. Anywho, methinks what she said would be better were it the following. "While I am only one, I am still one. And while I cannot do everything, I can still do something. Thus, I will not refuse to do the something I can do." ------------- Neil
