I was just reading through this forum again (is it your hypnotic gaze?)-anyway it reminded me of some things I have been reflecting on. As you know I hosted dozens of young people this summer and recognized that a lot of them have never had a "home" life. Having money or not is not relevant-sadly so many people have not developed the sensitivity of knowing what is precious and meant to be preserved-like long term relationships. New People come online round the clock and ongoing, loving reminders of rules, boundaries and professional courtesy are just as needed as if they were teenagers coming to live in our AdlandPro home. Here, we sit down, have a cup of tea and lively parlour conversation and give big hugs on deperture-til next time.

My dear, wise, sister Joyce ....

I love what you said ....

<<Here, we sit down, have a cup of tea and lively parlour conversation and give big hugs on deperture-til next time. >>

I think this just sums everything up ... and really describes how ADP is and should be ...

As far as the gentle reminder of the rules and newcomers ... I, actually, send a link to this forum to all the new people I invite into my network.  I can't extend this to all networkers in our community but I can spread the words to my new friends so they know where I'm coming from and decide whether, or not, they want to be a friend of mine.

I hope everything went well with your project... How did the Atlantean project, you were working on, go?

love and hugs

Venerina

Thank you for your very informative forum. This is one of the few forums I have been to that wasn't overpowered by large free-for-all ads. I would be scared to start a forum as a newbie since I don't have them long professionally written ads that overpower an original forum owner's ad space. Many friends I see start a forum and the first post is a competitor's overpowering ad. I hope this forum reaches more people. Melody Lee

Hello Darling One, thank you for asking! It has been quite a ride, I must say. After all of the wanderers departed I was left with two kindred spirits to stay and build. One of them attends community meetings with and without me to make BIG noise in the face of the big mucky mucks who are in control of releasing funds to the citizens. We have attracted a higher level of builders who have the skills I need for this phase of house repair (electicians and such) taking us one step closer to creating a safe haven for the children of the neighborhood. We prepared a lovely thanksgiving feast for the new friends and had a lovely new beginning to the 'New' New Orleans phase of our life. Melody-welcome to our parlour! (shes a Gemini, Dr V)
