Do You Make These Mistakes In Your Email Promos?
10/17/2006 6:29:38 PM

I have something important to share with you.

I just realized that I'd been making 2 huge
mistakes in my email promotions, and they've been
costing me a LOT of money. I thought I'd share
them with you, so that you can learn from my
mistakes and get better results with your emails.

SIDENOTE: If you're in a hurry, go ahead and
check out this URL to see what I'm talking about
in this email:

Email Promos Exposed <--- Takes 30 seconds
*************************************************

Let's jump right in with:

*************************************************
MISTAKE #1 - OVERUSE OF POWER WORDS
*************************************************

Most marketers try to load up their emails with
ridiculous phrases like:

"Oh my God! I've got to get this off my chest
before I explode! Finally revealed for the first
time ever is this smoking hot new killer system
for sucking cash out of people's pockets!"

The thing is, that kind of writing is obnoxious,
and it really doesn't work. It may have worked
years ago when people weren't used to seeing
stuff like that, but these days, we just want to
be talked to like a normal person.

After learning about this, I went back and
re-read some of my own email promotions and
realized that I was guilty of this as well. I'm
glad I learned this now, rather than later.

*************************************************
MISTAKE #2 - MAKING YOUR EMAIL ABOUT TOO MANY THINGS
*************************************************

This was probably the worst thing I was doing. I
would go off on so many tangents in my emails,
trying to tell the reader too many things at
once.

When it came time for people to take action, they
weren't sure what I wanted them to do, because I
had told them about 5 different products in the
email.

Take this lesson to heart... make your email
about one thing, and one thing only. You'll be
surprised to see how much more money you make
every time you email your list.

*************************************************
WANT TO LEARN MORE?
*************************************************

If you're wondering where I learned about these
mistakes (and four others that I was making), I
got it all from Michael Rasmussen's new VIDEO
course called "Email Promos Exposed".

It's the only course of it's kind, because it's
laser focused on teaching you how to write KILLER
email promotions for every product you sell (or
that you promote as an affiliate). And best of all
he's giving these videos away for FREE!

Michael's new course goes WAY beyond all these
crappy eBooks that are floating around the
Internet right now. If you want to make more
money with every email promotion from now on,
then you need to check out his course.

Keneth,

A man once told me that you can't throw a steak in front of a person and tell them to put the whole thing in their mouth and chew it up.

I just does not work that way.

When to much information is placed before a person, they have a tendiency to loose attention.  This is due to the fact that most people have short attention spans.

You are right when you say that your information should come from the heart.

Kenneth,

Yes, you are right. I think 'keep it simple and honest with a little sensationalism' has always produced the best result.

Regards,

Sam

Hi Ken,

K.I.S.S.  - no I am NOT getting fresh with you.

Keep it simple, S-----!

That is what you said in a nutshell I think.  As I have been told way too many times in the past, I have a tendency to include TOO MUCH information.  So, what I do now is write it all out then cut it in half.  I went through that on my website with the keywords.  Yikes I had 1054 keywords and the little spiders thought I was SPAM.   I had to go a little more that 50% on that task to get it right and I do the same iwith my email campaigns when I do them

Great advice and as usual easy to understand - LOVE IT!

Thanks

Judy
