Thanks for the reminder. If we set realistic short term goals, baby steps, if you will, and achieve those goals, our confidence will grow consistently. As our confidence grows, we find our "comfort level" and although it doesn't really get any easier, it sure does seem to be.
If I can Highlight one main point in what you said
"Make sure that they are realistic expectations. And, most importantly, make sure that they are your own."
I always have a "game plan" session with all of my associates and will always assist them with setting their Goals, both short term and long term. However, the end result must be theirs, not mine, nor my upline's, but theirs alone. Otherwise, they are setting themselves up for defeat and I will lose more than I will keep, and more importantly, they will lose so much more.
