Hi Debbie,
At this point in time, I have not dug up outside proof that OPFM is a scam.
The fact is, after reading through the site, I really didn't think it necessary. The website, itself, just SHOUTS scam.
A GREAT site to visit and study very carefully is one called CrimesOfPersuasion.com
You will find a lot of information on a wide variety of different scams that will help you to recognize them when you see them.
The OPFM site is a PERFECT example of such a site. Rather than deal in facts, real products, and an easily explained business/compensation plan, it focuses instead on how much you are going to make doing virtually nothing. This is a HALLMARK of a scam or at the very least, a very unethical operator.
Just who IS Thomas Thompson, anyway? Do a Google search for my name, Dave Cottrell, and you will find me on the FIRST page, even though there are 1.5 million of us!
Do a search for Thomas Thompson, and GOOD LUCK finding ANY information on him!
I did, however, do a search on his company, Frantom Group LLC., the company that owns OPFM. Now THAT was very interesting! Here is a copy of his main web page from 2004: http://www.frantomgroup.com It is so unprofessional, it's downright scarey. Would YOU trust the owner of this site with your money? The grammar and spelling is atrocious!
No, I do not have an SEC complaint or any solid, legal proof that OPFM is a scam, at this time, so it is simply my opinion that it IS a scam. However, I have been very accurate in calling them like it is, so if you want to take your chances hoping I'm wrong, it's your money. The chances, though, are VERY good that I'm right.
God bless,
Dave
