I swear this is so true.

Please do not ask me where the words came from because I was minding my own business, just taking a walk after supper and half way home it felt as if an invisible hand reached down and shoved these words into my head. If you have an opinion on what the poem means, then PLEASE let me know - The Lord works in mysterious ways

 

Innocent Love

 

I constantly say I love you,

but you never say it back

I give you all my emotions,

But it is the communication that you lack

 

Every day I hug you,

but your arms never reach out to me

I am always there to take care of you,

but your eyes never truly see

 

I try to introduce you to my friends,

but you never say a word

They try to tell you how cute you are,

but nothing is ever heard

 

You sit in a corner all day long,

but does it really have to be that way

I try to get you to open up,

but you always keep me at bay

 

I do not think this relationship will work,

I have grown and it is just not fair

because you have stayed the same,

My little teddy bear.
