I was raised Baptist and we used fermented wine, red wine, usually Mogan David, and unlevened bread.

Some churches prefer to use grape juice, but most recently I attended a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Mormon Church and they used regular loaf bread and water.

I believe that we should use the fermented wine, but some people believe that just as Christ said he wouldn't partake of the fruit of the vine until he breaks bread with us in heaven that we shouldn't either, so I guess that's why the Mormon's use water.

DID YOU KNOW? The U.S. Social Security Board reports that 85 out of 100 Americans reaching age 65 don't possess as much as $250. And only 2% are self-sustaining (the rest dependent on family, church, or the government)! Want to know what the "2-percenters" know that you don't? www.sfi4.com/11579740/FREE

Bless you Jerilyn, I did not know you could not go to church. I hope what I have to share with you is an inspiration!

Speaking of not being able to attend church, when two or more are gathered  in His name He is there, so we are attending church right now.
And communion doesn't necessarily have to be wine and bread, it can be whatever you have on hand and can be shared between people who
live thousands of miles apart as long as you do it In REMEMBRANCE of Him.
